Thursday and Friday it was finally here, the official launch of the new concept LHV 2CITY.
It was devised by Van Oosterhout Holten, Stam-Obdam and Broshuis and this was the first time the concept was demonstrated to the press and industry. During these two days of demonstration it created a lot of interest and positive feedback from the customers. Besides the coupling and uncoupling ease, all customers where particularly impressed by the handling characteristics of the 2CITY. The small turning radius and smooth tracking of the entire combinations amazed many visitors. The positive steering while reversing also surprised and impressed many people. The comments after were also promising: "This is what the distribution transport has been waiting for and needs". For more images, we refer you to head media.

Besides 2CITY at the open day there was also the introduction of the LHV. The LHV 2Connect specifically designed for container transport. The 9-axle combination may carry up to 3 TEU.
